All of the Lakeside retreats are held in a relaxed, homely atmosphere and are oriented to the cultivation of a quality of gentle awareness. Through meditation your mind and body come into a deep stillness and peace while nurturing your whole being. In order to create a space where things can unfold naturally, we believe that the benefits of the practice of sitting meditation can be extended to other activities as well, such as yoga, walking in nature, swimming and canoeing on the lakes (in winter when there is snow there is a langlauf track).
